The Benefits of Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk Therapy is a form of ecotherapy, which applies the research of how exposure to nature impacts mental and emotional well-being. In a Walk and Talk Therapy Session, we conduct a therapy session while walking a trail in nature.

Walk and Talk Therapy Sessions

Please note that clients must attend a Walk and Talk Intake session, either in person or online, with Nadine Crain before booking a Walk and Talk Session.

Distance Walk and Talk Sessions

Distance Walk and Talk Therapy joins the convenience of online therapy with the benefits of walk and talk therapy. The client chooses their own outdoor area in their location to walk in, and the counsellor also walks on a trail outdoors in a different location. The counsellor and client talk on the phone while they each walk in their separate locations. This is helpful for those who live too far away to do a walk and talk in person but would still like to do their session outdoors.
