WALK AND TALK THERAPY

Walk and Talk Therapy is a form of ecotherapy, which applies the research of how exposure to nature impacts mental and emotional well-being. In a Walk and Talk Therapy Session, we conduct a therapy session while walking a trail in nature.

*Please note that clients must attend an online or in-office intake session with Nadine Crain before booking a Walk and Talk Session.

NOW OFFERING

As my walk and talk sessions at MillCreek Ravine are only available during Spring-Fall, I wanted to find an indoor option for walk and talk sessions to continue during the winter.

Walk and Talk sessions at Muttart are different from outdoor walking sessions in a few ways:

  • There is an admission price to enter Muttart that the client needs to pay.

  • It requires a slower pace of walking, and more pauses in walking.

  • There is more to observe and look at with all the variety of plants and flowers.

  • There will likely be more people around as it is a public building.

This may not be the best option for any clients that desire continuous, fast paced walking, or walk and talk sessions that are more private.
